Anyone doing research on a controversial subject will find the Points of View Reference Center to be a valuable resource. It features point/counterpoint essays on current news topics and supporting articles from a variety of sources.
Revolutionary War records, family histories and the United States census from 1790 to 1930 are just a few of the resources available to genealogy researchers on Heritage Quest.
FirstSearch offers the user a group of databases which include catalogs of materials available at libraries, abstracts, and full text documents.

The Orland Park Public Library offers a wide variety of research databases. All of the databases are available in the library; many of them are available for home use. You will need an Orland Park Public Library card to use these sites outside of the library.
