Meet the Artist: Barbara Eberhard
Apr. 2, 2018
Orland Park Public Library will be presenting a Meet the Artist event for Barbara Eberhard on Friday, May 4 at 7 p.m.
Gum biochromate is a hands-on, meditative combination of printmaking, watercolor, and photography. Using alternative development processes enables Barbara Eberhard to become more engaged in the creative process, creating an image rather than simply recording one. There is a mystery and emotion to the almost surreal images that result, like things recalled from dreams, or distant memories. The featured display is from Eberhard's collection "Gum on the Streets."
