Orland Park Public Library presents Losing at the Oscars

Jan. 26, 2018
Orland Park Public Library brings a light-hearted presentation about the success of actors and directors who have been nominated for Oscars but actually lost on Tuesday, February 27 at 7 p.m.
During Oscar season it can be fun to see awards being handed out, but that does mean that every time someone wins an Oscar, four people lose. Steve Frenzel will celebrate all the amazing artists who never won an Oscar in a competitive category. Library patrons might be shocked to see who is on the list.
“We’ve had Steve many times,” said Head of Outreach Kelly Cuci. “He always brings new and interesting ideas to his storytelling and media programs.”
Patrons interested in learning more about Library events are encouraged to call the library at 708-428-5100 or visit the library at 14921 Ravinia Avenue in Orland Park, IL 60462. Hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
